While this concept sounds all awww how sweet and all–your shirt indicates 2.5 hearts until you get close to the person wearing the other shirt whereupon all the hearts on both shirts light up–I'm just waiting to see what hackery people perform on this.

For example: the polyamorous. Maybe you go up a half-heart for each person in the room with you.
